The Bad Romance star’s comeback is due to kick off in August.

Are you ready for the return of Lady Gaga? Pop’s most outlandish star is back! Back! BACK! And in a big way.

After months of teasing, Mother Monster has finally announced her new album ARTPOP will be released on November 11 and will be preceded by an as yet untitled single on August 19. Will it be Gaga’s fifth Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart?

Following on from 2011’s Born This Way, the album will be available to pre-order from September 1 and Gaga has also announced the launch of a special app where fans will also be able to buy the album.

On the star’s Facebook page, Lady Gaga’s team describes the forthcoming album as “a ‘rage’ of electronic passion and fury”. Gaga has also announced “an evening of artRave” in November, including a collaboration with controversial artist Jeff Koons.

According to unconfirmed reports from The Sun, Lady Gaga is slated to make a return to performing in September, at London’s legendary Roundhouse venue in Camden. Insiders say the gig is set to be part of the iTunes Festival, which will also feature live shows from Justin Timberlake and Arctic Monkeys. The show will be Gaga’s first stage outing since she underwent hip surgery in February.

Her top-selling single is 2009’s Poker Face, which has shifted a whopping 1.1 million copies. It was, unsurprisingly, the biggest selling track of that year.
