Kylie Minogue will be getting right into the festive spirit again this year - she has announced two massive shows at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Australian songstress will put on two showstopping yuletide nights at the iconic London venue on December 9 and 10, 2016, just in time for Santa Claus' busy period.

“I can’t wait to return to the Royal Albert Hall to share a night of joy and celebration with everyone," explained Kylie in a statement. "Expect Christmas classics, plenty of sparkle and some very special surprises.”

Kylie's holiday album Kylie Christmas was released last November and peaked at Number 12 on the Official Albums Chart. Miss Minogue confirmed in a recent interview that the album was to be repackaged, promising "really really good new additions".

Kylie Christmas features collaborations with James Corden, Iggy Pop and her sister Dannii. The siblings' track 100 Degrees is actually one of 2016's best-selling vinyl single releases. Dannii herself has a busy schedule coming up, starring as a judge on new BBC One show Let It Shine.

Kylie has scored 7 UK Number 1 singles and 5 Number 1 albums during her career. Check out Kylie Minogue's full UK chart history here.

Tickets for A Kylie Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall go on sale this Friday (October 14) at 9am.
