Katy Perry’s latest album, Teenage Dream, has now sold over a million copies in the UK the Official Charts Company can reveal.
The album, which is the US singer’s third studio album and second under her Katy Perry stage name, debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart when it was released in August 2010. It sold 54,000 copies in its first week on sale, and knocked Eminem’s Recovery off the top spot.
Teenage Dream, which has spawned six Top 10 singles including two Number 1s (California Gurls FT Snoop Dogg and Part Of Me), has now sold over 1,005,000 in the UK.
