Katy Perry releases video teaser for new single Roar

Katy hints at a change of image in time for her new album Prism.

She’s been away for a while, but now Katy Perry is back in business with a new teaser giving us a peep at the video for her new single Roar.

The track is the first to be lifted from her forthcoming third studio album, Prism, which is due for release in October.

A bright gold truck has been spotted in various cities across the USA bearing the album’s name and release date, prompting a few spoof tweets picturing the truck in some less glamorous locations in the UK.

The video teaser for Roar shows a very glamorous looking Katy saying goodbye to one of her most iconic looks. It seems the bright blue wig from California Gurls is getting its marching orders in a very dramatic fashion.

Roar is set for release in August. Can it be another Number 1 for Katy?
