Katy Perry has posted a new lyric video for her forthcoming single Roar online.

Rather than merely settling for a series of slick onscreen transitions, fans are offered a Katy-eye view of the world as she goes about her daily business and watches the lyrics for her new track unfold in an instant messaging app on her phone. Indeed, you’ll get to join Katy in the car on the way to the studio as well as in bed, in the bath and, um, on the loo!

Roar will be released in the UK on September 8, while her new album Prism will follow on October 21.
