Can she get a witness to get through this?

Katy Perry is taking the title of her album very literally this weekend by live streaming herself.

In celebration of the release of her fourth album Witness today (June 9), fans can follow the star's every movement for the next 72 hours via a live stream on YouTube.

At the time of writing, we're witnessing Katy asleep, which only feels mildly creepy. Watch what she's up to right now below:

Who doesn't love an outrageous stunt involving a popstar and their new album? Back in 1995, a massive Michael Jackson statue was sent down the Thames in London to celebrate the release of his HIStory album, while U2 performed at the top of the BBC's Broadcasting House to mark the release of their 2009 album No Line On The Horizon. However, Katy's is probably the most up close and personal stunt we've ever, umm, witnessed.

It's also worth noting that both of the albums mentioned above went to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. Will Katy's bold move help send it to the top?
