Kate Bush to play series of live shows in London

The legendary singer’s Before The Dawn stage show will start at London’s Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, this summer.

It’s the live shows nobody thought would ever happen, but famously private singer Kate Bush has announced a series of 15 live shows in London during August and September 2014.

The shows, named Before The Dawn, will be Kate’s first live concerts since 1979. All 15 of the shows will take place at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith.

The show dates are as follows:

August 26, 27, 29, 30

September 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19

Kate’s chart career goes all the way back to 1978, when she scored her first and only Number 1 single with her debut hit Wuthering Heights – it topped the Official Singles Chart for four weeks. Kate has had 25 Top 40 hits in total, including seven Top 10s. Three of Kate’s albums have topped the charts – 1980’s Never For Ever, 1985’s Hounds Of Love and 1986’s The Whole Story.
