This week’s Official Trending Chart sees big entries from Iggy Azalea and Kanye West with their latest tracks.

Both acts enter the Top 20 list of songs impacting in the UK this week, with West appearing twice as his latest album The Life Of Pablo hits more streaming services following is exclusive Tidal-only release back in February.

Father Stretch My Hands Pt 1 and Famous are the cuts from the album that feature on this week's trending chart. The latter has vaulted a massive 156 places on the Official Singles Chart since last week and is on course to hit this Friday’s Top 40 (currently at 38).

Meanwhile, Iggy hits this week’s trending Top 20 list with Team. The track, which heads up her upcoming album Digital Distortion, was released last month and is steadily scaling the singles Top 100, up 15 spots from last week to Number 76.

Norwegian producer Alan Walker leads the Official Trending Chart for a second week with Faded, which looks set to enter the Top 10 this week for the first time (currently at 7), closely followed by Joe Jonas-fronted band DNCE, who are on course to do the same with their debut single Cake By The Ocean.

Another track making waves in the UK this week is The Vamps’ I Found A Girl. The song - taken from their latest album Wake Up - has been re-worked with guest star OMI and looks set to be the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart.

Elsewhere, Rihanna’s Kiss It Better features in the trending Top 20 after the unveiling of the song’s raunchy music video, and Drake & Future’s Jumpman makes an appearance following the track's features in an advert for Apple Music, which sees Taylor Swift rapping to the song while on a treadmill.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart  is a brand new chart launched for 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch last month has already highlighted emerging hits such as Zara Larrsson’s Lush Life and Mike Posner’s I Took A Pill In Ibiza, both tracks went on to become Top 5 smashes in the Official Singles Chart.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
