Justin Bieber and Rihanna confirmed to headline V Festival 2016

Justin Bieber and Rihanna have been announced as headliners for this summer's V Festival.

The V Festival, which is in its 21st year, will be held in Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Chelmsford on the weekend of 20 and 21 August.

Justin Bieber will be making his festival debut – and his only festival appearance in the UK this year – and giving everyone a preview of his forthcoming Purpose tour.

Rihanna's appearance marks her first performance at the V Festival in five years, bringing her Anti World Tour show to her only UK festival date of the summer.

Also on the bill at the huge pop weekender are Sia, David Guetta, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Bastille and John Newman.

Plus, there will be sets from Kaiser Chiefs, Rita Ora, Years & Years, Tinie Tempah, Example and Katy B, plus appearances from Halsey, Troye Sivan, Foxes, All Saints and Fleur East, to name just a few!

The full day-by-day lineup will be announced after the BRIT Awards on Wednesday. Tickets go on sale at 9:30am on Friday 26 February. More info on vfestival.com
