Since the release of his debut single Fast Car at the very beginning of 2016, Jonas Blue has rarely escaped the Official Singles Chart Top 40.

So far, all four of his singles have been sizeable hits, with just one missing the Top 10 but each dominating nonetheless, logging 79 weeks in the Top 40 between them. Across his four singles, he's shifted a total of 3.6 million combined sales, including a massive 270 million streams, according to Official Charts Company data.

With his last single Mama recently dropping out of the Top 40 some five months after its release, the Essex born DJ/producer/songwriter returns right on cue with his next offering this Friday (Oct 13), called We Could Go Back. The song features newcomer Moelogo, a British-Nigerian singer songwriter who hails from South London and has previously collaborated with Giggs and Mostack.

Official Charts has had an early listen to the track, and it recalls the dreamy, wistful production of Fast Car, while lyrically, it's packed with earworms ("Shoulda, coulda, woulda but it's too late/ Shouldn't catch feelings on a first date" Moelogo sings on the opening line), 'hey!'s' and a melody you'll be humming along to before the end of the first play.

Here's a 10-second preview posted by Jonas online to get you warmed up ahead of its Friday release:

This seems to have bombed chart wise but it's wonderful! What a shame!
