Long before One Direction, there was JLS – the first boyband to break out of The X Factor. After 11 Top 20 hits on the Official Singles Chart – five of them Number 1s – JLS are calling it a day.

Since Aston, Marvin, Oritse and JB announced they were going their separate ways in April, we’ve been waiting to see just how the boys would top off a stellar chart career. Well the wait is over, as JLS have now unveiled the video for their farewell single Billion Lights – although we can’t really see what’s going on because we’re crying too darn hard.

Watch the Billion Lights video now:

The track is released on November 10, ahead of the band’s greatest hits album, entitled (not entirely surprisingly) Goodbye – The Greatest Hits on November 18. Ooh, shiny!

Chart Facts

JLS first hit Number 1 in July 2009 with Beat Again. It is also their biggest seller, racking up over 560,000 copies.

The band has sold over 3.4 million singles in the UK, and enjoyed five Number 1s. Can you name them? We can (not that we're competitive or anything): Beat Again, Everybody In Love, The Club Is Alive, Love You More and their collaboration with DevShe Makes Me Wanna.
