Helen Mirren's Eye In The Sky battling Chris Hemsworth's The Huntsman - Winter's War for this week's Number 1 DVD/Blu-ray

It's a war of epic proportions on this week's Official Video Chart, as two new releases (and very different war films) battle for Number 1: The Huntsman and Eye In The Sky. 

Chris Hemsworth's The Huntsman - a dark fantasy action film based on Snow White and The Snow Queen - is leading the way with 31,000 sales on DVD/Blu-ray at the mid-week stage.

Close behind at Number 2 is British thriller Eye In The Sky, which stars Helen Mirren and is about military personnel facing legal, ethical, and political dilemmas presented by modern drone warfare against those using terrorist tactics.

Last week's Number 1 DVD Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice slips to 3 after a two-week reign at the top, and there are two more new releases heading for the Top 10 - US sci-fi thriller Criminal starring Kevin Costner at Number 6, and series 3 of The Musketeers at 9. 

Further down, there are three new entries heading for the Top 40 this week. Series 31 and 32 boxset of British sitcom Last Of The Summer Wine sits at 11, season 1 of US series 11.22.63 starts at 15, and Norwegian drama The Wave enters at 27.
