Guns N' Roses have announced a UK tour date as part of their reunion tour.

Axl Rose has reformed with original GNR members Slash and Duff McKagan (pictured), with a world tour already underway. Europe's leg of the Not In This Lifetime Tour was announced today, with the iconic rock band announcing one headline UK show.

The Sweet Child O'Mine group will headline London's Olympic Park Stadium on Friday June 16, 2017, a gig that will mark 24 years since this incarnation of the group's classic line-up performed together on British shores.

Guns N' Roses have a well documented rocky history, with their last studio album to feature the likes of Slash and Duff McKagan released in 1993, the Number 2 peaking The Spaghetti Incident?. Axl Rose used the collective's name for the 2008 album Chinese Democracy, which also peaked at Number 2.

In total, Guns N' Roses have achieved two Number 1 albums and 12 Top 10 singles in the UK, the most successful of which was Knockin' On Heaven's Door that settled for the runner-up spot in 1992. View Guns N' Roses complete chart history here.

Tickets for Guns N' Roses' UK comeback show go on sale this Friday, December 9, at 9am.
