After topping the Official Albums Chart and the Official Singles Chart yesterday (Sunday, June 10) Gary Barlow has achieved an Official Charts hat-trick by topping the Official Record Store Chart, too!
The Take That frontman and the Commonwealth Band’s album, Sing, has climbed from Number 13 to Number 1 on the Official Record Store Chart – the new chart compiled by the Official Charts Company to reflect sales from independent high-street record shops.
Brooklyn band Friends debut at Number 2 in the Official Record Store Chart with their debut album, Manifest!, while Dexys’ One Day I’m Gonna Soar – the seminal London group’s first new material in 27 years – is new in at Number 3, followed closely by Neil Young And Crazy Horse with Americana at Number 4. Maryland pop duo Beach House complete this week’s Top 5 with their fourth album Bloom.
