Fun. "We never thought We Are Young would be Number 1 in the UK"
Fun. topped the Official Singles Chart back in May with We Are Young FT Janelle Monae. As we present the band with their Official Number 1 Award, they reveal they still can’t believe it went to Number 1.

Back in May, Fun. topped the Official Singles Chart with We Are Young FT. Janelle Monae. Since then, it has gone on to become one of the biggest selling songs of 2012 so far.
However, as we presented them with their Official Number 1 Award yesterday (Monday, July 10) at their sold-out show at London’s Heaven, the New York trio told OfficialCharts.com that they still can’t believe the track reached Number 1 in the UK.
“This is something that happens to your heroes and to people on TV,” says Andrew Dost. “It’s not something that happens to us!”
