Florence + The Machine have unveiled their new single, called Hunger.

Singer Florence Welch described the song as "deeply personal" in an interview with Radio 1, adding: "There's just this feeling sometimes that you're not good enough and have to be perfect".

The group marked the release by launching their official Instagram account with an image from the song's accompanying music video, directed by AG Rojas (Calvin Harris, Skrillex). Watch the clip below:

Hunger - out now - is band's first new music release since their 2015 chart-topping album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. The group put out an exclusive single, called Sky Full of Song, for this year's Record Store Day.

All three of their studio albums have reached Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, and they currently lay claim to nine Top 40 singles. Look at Florence + The Machine's complete Official Chart history here.
