Dig out the most colourful thing in your wardrobe, sprinkle some glitter over it and get yourself down to The Mighty Hoopla - the UK's sparkliest new pop festival happening this Sunday (June 4).

The seven stage musical extravaganza combines Britain’s finest alternative clubbing experiences - including Guilty Pleasures, Sink The Pink, Ultimate Power and Bongo’s Bingo - and chucks in a heap of grade-A new and classic pop talent. Performers include Years & Years, All Saints, Will Young, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, S Club Party, Snap and Technotronic, while Charlotte Church will be rocking up with her now famous Karaoke Dungeon.

Oh, and did we mention Official Charts are making an appearance too?

OfficialCharts.com has teamed up with Fearne Cotton in the Noisy Kitchen VIP area for an extra special DJ set on the day. You’ve seen our Every Official UK Number 1 Ever playlist, right? (If you haven’t you need it in your life, find it on Spotify or Deezer). Well, Fearne will be helping us bring it to life for first time at The Mighty Hoopla.

Ahead of the big day, we put a few important chart-y questions to Fearne. As a former host of Radio 1's Official Chart show, she'll be a dab hand at this, right?

We’ll start with an easy one: What was the first single you ever bought?

"It was a Kylie Minogue single. I loved her! I bought it with my pocket money on cassette."

What’s your ultimate Number 1 single?

"The Stones' with Satisfaction. It's a classic! It was a mainstream hit the world over but still so cool and sounds so fresh. You can't over play this song, it's impossible."

And, in your opinion, the worst Number 1?

"The blobby song. I've got little time for novelty music."

Have you got a favourite oldie-but-goodie from the Every Official UK Number 1 playlist?

"There are too many but maybe Madonna - Papa Don't Preach!"

What song do you think *should* have been Number 1 but was cruelly robbed of it?

"There are loads of songs! Fleet Foxes' Mykonos is a dream and would have been a glorious Number 1."

You hosted the Official Chart show on Radio 1 with Reggie for 2 years, can you tell us about a particularly memorable moment?

"There were so many. I adore working with Reg as he is like family. I remember once we got the giggles really badly when doing the entire Top 40 countdown and by the time we got to Number 1 we could barely breathe."

What Number 1 song reminds you of summer as a kid?

"This might not count because it only made Number 8 in the UK, but the Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff's Summertime. It went to Number 1 in the States is the ultimate nostalgic summer song for me."

What Number 1 single from 2017 do you think will go on to be a classic that’s still played in 20 years’ time?

"I'm imagining Ed Sheeran Shape Of You as he's not going anywhere for a long time, is he?"

Finally, what is your go-to Number 1 single that never fails to get people dancing during a DJ set?

"Snap's The Power is always a good one to have a dance too!"

Fearne Cotton will play an Official Charts' Number 1s DJ set at the Noisy Kitchen VIP area at Mighty Hoopla this Sunday, June 4. Tickets and more info can be found here.
