Fast And Furious 6 knocks Iron Man 3 off Number 1

Fast And Furious 6 has knocked Iron Man 3 off the top of the Official Video Chart.

Fast And Furious 6, the latest instalment of The Fast And The Furious franchise, has gone straight to Number 1 on the Official Video Chart.

Starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Michelle Rodriguez, Fast And Furious 6 sold nearly 296,000 copies during its first week on sale, and has knocked Marvel’s Iron Man 3 (Number 2) off the top spot. FAF 6 has also gone to Number 1 on the Official DVD and Official Blu-ray format charts, and the Official Film On Video Chart, too.

This week’s Official Video Chart Top 5 is completed by Star Trek – into Darkness (Number 3), Olympus Has Fallen (4) and Despicable Me (5).

New Entries

Action drama Fire With Fire, which stars Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis and 50 Cent (the latter of whom also produced the film), is new in at Number 17. The Fast And The Furious hexalogy boxed set, Fast & Furious - 6 Movie Collection, enters at 26, while Steven Seagal’s Dead Drop debuts at Number 40.
