Ella Eyre heading for highest new entry on Official Singles Chart

Further new entries from Taylor Swift, Sheppard, Jessie J and Ne-Yo.

Ella Eyre’s Together lands at Number 6 on today’s Official Singles Chart Update, placing it firmly on course to be this week’s highest new entry.

To date the singer-songwriter has scored two solo Top 20 singles, as well as featuring on 2013 Rudimental Number 1 Waiting All Night and DJ Fresh’s Top 5 hit Gravity.

Elsewhere, the Top 5 remains at a standstill: OMI is on course to score a fourth week at Number 1, trailed by LunchMoney Lewis’ Bills (2) and Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again FT Charlie Puth (3).

Swedish production duo Galantis’ Runaway (You & I) holds firm at Number 4, followed by Major Lazer’s Lean On FT MO & DJ Snake (5).

New entries

Following the premiere of its highly-anticipated music video, Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood makes its chart debut at Number 10.

Australian indie pop band Sheppard enter at Number 18 midweek with Geronimo, trailed by US singer/songwriter Andie Case with her Jason Derulo cover/mashup Want To Want Me/ I Want You To Want Me (26).

Jessie J is on track for a 16th Top 40 this weekend with Pitch Perfect 2 track Flashlight (27), while Wilkinson is heading for a fourth with Hopelessly Coping FT Thabo.

Finally, Ne-Yo is set to score his 20th UK Top 40 on Sunday with She Knows FT Juicy J, up 29 places to 38.
