Ed Sheeran announces Perfect as the fourth single from his Divide album

The song was a Top 5 hit upon the album's release earlier this year.

Ed Sheeran has confirmed the next single from his latest album ÷.

Perfect will serve as the fourth spin-off from the collection, following the chart-topping Shape Of You, Castle on the Hill and Galway Girl, the latter two of which peaked at Number 2. Watch the new lyric video below:

Perfect was one of the album's tracks that entered the Official Singles Chart Top 10 the first week of its release, landing at Number 4. Will its new single status help send it all the way to the top?

÷ has been the runaway success of 2017, notching up 2.2 million combined sales so far, while internationally, the record has surpassed 10 million sales.

Its lead single Shape Of You is one of nine songs by the singer-songwriter to feature in our newly unveiled Official Chart millionaires list, the 311 songs that have notched up 1 million sales and streaming equivalent sales combined. See the full list here.

The album was also shortlisted for this year's Mercury Prize, while Sheeran took home Artist of the Year award at last month's MTV VMAs. His 19-date UK stadium tour, which includes four nights at Wembley Stadium, kicks off in May 2018.
