Plus: Enrique Iglesias, Flo Rida, Pixie Lott and Kylie Minogue are heading for the Official Singles Chart Top 10 this Sunday.

Dvbbs and Borgeous could be heading for a debut UK Number 1 single this weekend, thanks to a little help from  Tinie Tempah.

Canadian duo Dvbbs (pronounded ‘dubbs’) released Tsunami, their collaboration with Miami DJ and producer Borgeous, last summer. The largely instrumental track reached Number 1 in Belgium and The Netherlands, and also went Top 10 in Denmark, France, Sweden and Switzerland, but failed to make an impact on the British charts at the time.

The trio have since teamed up with Tinie Tempah for a vocal mix, retitled Tsunami (Jump), the super-charged version has shot straight to Number 1 on today’s Official Singles Chart Update. The track has a lead of 15,000 copies on current chart-topper, Route 94’s My Love FT Jess Glynne, whichslides one place to Number 2.

Enrique Iglesias’ collaboration with Pitbull, I’m A Freak, debuts at Number 3 midweek, while How I Feel, Flo Rida’s reworking of the Nina Simone classic Feeling Good, newly emerges at Number 4. Pharrell Williams’ former Number 1, Happy, completes today’s Top 5.

New Entries and High Climbers

A flurry of pop princesses make their return to the Official Singles Chart this week, Pixie Lott debuts just outside the Top 5 on today’s Update with new offering, Nasty (Number 6), while Kylie Minogue enters one place behind her with Into The Blue (7), the first single to be taken from forthcoming 12th studio album, Kiss Me Once, out next Monday (March 17). Should its sales momentum continue, Into The Blue will become the Australian star’s 35th Official Singles Chart Top 10 hit.

Meanwhile, Christina Perri is new in at Number 13 with Human – the lead track from her upcoming second album Head Or Heart, which is out next month. New York DJs / producers The Chainsmokers climb 21 places to Number 21 with Selfie, while One Direction soar 44 places to 29 today with the title track of their chart-topping third album, Midnight Memories.

Glee star Lea Michele rounds off this week’s new entries and climbers with her debut solo single, Cannonball. The Sia Furler-penned track enters at 39 on today’s Update.
