This week in music is all about Drake; the rapper dominates the latest Official Trending Chart following the release of his new album Scorpion.

The collection is currently battling it out with Florence + The Machine for Number 1 on this week's Official Albums Chart, while three of the record's tracks are set to enter the singles Top 10.

Proving the most popular on the 25-track collection is Nonstop, which is challenging George Ezra for Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart, currently at Number 2 in the latest sales flash.

Meanwhile, Don't Matter To Me is close behind in second place on the trending Top 20. The song features Michael Jackson's vocals from a previously unreleased 1983 recording produced by Canadian singer-songwriter Paul Anka. Emotionless, which samples a live performance of Mariah Carey's hit Emotions, is in third.

Other songs making a big impact this week are Jonas Blue's Rise ft. Jack & Jack, which is set to enter the Top 10 on this week's Official Singles Chart, while Tiesto's latest mega collab with Dzeko, Preme and Post Malone is also seeing continued growth this week.

Florence + The Machine also impacts the Official Trending Chart following the release of her fourth album High As Hope. The collection's trailer single, Hunger, is set to make a big climb up the singles Top 100 and could make its Top 40 debut this Friday (July 6).

Elsewhere, Nicky Nevz - aka British actor Nick Nevern - is making a big splash with his debut single Get Messy ft. Chasa Real Talk and Carly Cunningham, currently on the cusp of entering the Top 40, and Jason Derulo's official World Cup song Colors features as this year's competition ramps up to the quarter finals.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart is a brand new chart launched for 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has already highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles These Days by Rudimental, Eminem's River ft. Ed Sheeran, and Lil Dicky's Freaky Friday.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
