Donna Summer loses battle with cancer

We are sad to announce that Donna Summer passed away this morning (Thursday, May 17). According to early reports, the 63-year-old star had been battling cancer for some time.

Donna Summer shot to fame in the 1970s, and was dubbed ‘The Queen Of Disco’. Her biggest British chart hit was I Feel Love, which topped the Official Singles Chart in 1977. Over the course of her career she enjoyed 28 Top 40 hits, and 13 Top 40 albums. She will be greatly missed.
