X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd is on course to score her first Official Number One with her debut single, according to today's Official Chart Update.
Lloyd's single Swagger Jagger has built up a hefty lead over JLS's She Makes Me Wanna in second place, currently selling 50% faster than the single by the fellow former X Factor contestants –leaving her on course to top Sunday's Official Singles Chart.
Other big movers in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Update are David Guetta/Cruz/Ludicris's Little Bad Girl, which is up from 13 to six, while Rizzle Kicks' Down With The Trumpets is up from 20 to ten.
Almost two weeks after her sad death, Amy Winehouse will continue to have a big presence in the Official Singles Chart when it is unveiled on Sunday; six of her singles are on course to claim places in the Top 75 –Back To Black (currently 28 in the Official Singles Update), Tears Dry On Their Own (36), Rehab (46), Love Is A Losing Game (57), You Know I’m No Good (58) and Valerie (64).
In the albums market Winehouse has an even bigger impact, with her two studio albums both on course to occupy places in the Top 3 in Sunday's Official Albums Chart –Back To Black at Number One and Frank at three, separated only by Adele's 21 in second place. If the albums finish in the same positions, it would be a lifetime peak for Frank, which had only previously peaked at 13 in the Official Albums Chart before reaching 5 in last week's rundown.
The highest new entry of the week looks set to be Famous First Words by Viva Brother, which is currently 19 in the Official Albums Update.
