Cheat Codes and Little Mix's Only You is Number 1 on the UK's Official Trending Chart

The summer single has been scaling the Official Singles Chart for four weeks - and it's not finished yet.

With the summer well and truly in full swing, it's fitting that Cheat Codes and Little Mix's collaboration, Only You, takes the top spot on the Official Trending Chart.

The summer single tops the list of 20 new songs making the biggest impact in the UK this week, based on movement up the Official Singles Chart.

Only You has steadily been climbing the charts since its release just over four weeks ago and is edging closer to the Top 10 this week, so far up five places to Number 14 in the latest sales flash.

Only You currently stands as the fourth UK Top 40 hit by LA trio Cheat Codes, while for Little Mix it's their 19th. Check out Little Mix's full Official Chart history here.

Also makes huge strides up the chart this week is Jax Jones' Ring Ring. The Mabel and Rich The Kid-assisted single is set to break the Top 20 five weeks after its release, currently at Number 16 on the Official Singles Chart Update.

Meanwhile, The 1975 impact this week's Official Trending Chart with their brand new single Love It If We Made It, which looks likely to be the highest new entry on this week's Official Singles Chart. The song follows Give Yourself A Try and serves as the latest release from their forthcoming album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships.

Finally, Canadian duo Loud Luxury are making waves with their new single Body ft. Brando, already a Top 5 hit in their hometown, and Rudimental are gaining momentum with Let Me Live, their new single featuring Major Lazer and Anne-Marie.

The Official Trending Chart is a brand new chart launched for 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has already highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 singles These Days by Rudimental, Eminem's River ft. Ed Sheeran, and Lil Dicky's Freaky Friday.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months.
