Camila Cabello's Crying In The Club is the UK's Number 1 trending song this week.

The former Fifth Harmony vocalist tops the Official Trending Chart, the UK's leading indicator of future hits. 80% of songs that have reached the top of the Trending Chart have gone onto to become Top 10 hits on the Official Trending Chart.

Crying In The Club has so far reached Number 14 on the Official Singles Chart, and is on course to climb even higher as of yesterday's Official Chart Update. Will this emerging hit reach the big time come Friday (July 21)?

Other tracks making an impact this week include The Script's new entry Rain, which is on course to make a strong debut on this week's Official Singles Chart. The song marks a change in sound for the trio and is their first single release in almost three years.

Also finding a place on this week's trending Top 20 is Demi Lovato's Sorry Not Sorry, a song that has made significant gains on the Official Singles Chart since its midweek release last Tuesday (July 11).

Up-and-coming rappers Yungen and Yxng Bane are making strides with their song Bestie, while other songs to keep an eye on in the next few weeks include Selena Gomez's Fetish, Dua Lipa's New Rules and Arcade Fire's Everything Now.

About the Official Trending Chart

The Official Trending Chart was launched in 2016 to highlight the hottest new tracks beginning to make an impact in the UK every week.

The Top 20 rundown, published on OfficialCharts.com every Tuesday, based on the first four days’ sales of each chart week, is designed to highlight emerging hits as they begin to scale the Official Charts and build buzz.

The Official Trending Chart ranks titles which are showing week-on-week chart growth, and is the only “new music” chart to reflect audio track sales and streams comprehensively across all services.

Devised by the Official Charts Company in close consultation with labels, retailers and media, the chart since launch has highlighted emerging hits such as Number 1 single One Dance by Drake, and The Chainsmokers & Halsey's chart topper Closer.

The chart is designed to help highlight hit singles in their early stages of their growth, in the light of the shift in release strategies of record labels over the past six months. Under “On Air On Sale”, labels have started to release new music for consumers to buy or stream on the same day as those tracks are released to media (including radio stations and TV).
