Bruno Mars is among the latest wave of acts set to perform at next year’s BRIT Awards.

The US superstar, who won the International Male Solo Artist Award at 2012's BRITs, will be joined by homegrown talent Rudimental and Bastille.

It’s been an incredible year for both acts with East London collective Rudimental topping both the Official Singles Chart with Waiting All Night FT Ella Eyre AND the Official Albums Chart with their debut full-length, Home. Bastille also topped the Official Albums Chart with their debut, Bad Blood, which has gone on to become one of the Top 10 biggest selling albums of 2013 so far.

"We are really looking forward to playing the BRITs,” said Rudimental in an official statement. "We went to the event for the very first time this year when we were nominated for Best Single for Feel The Love. We didn't win, but it was such an amazing night celebrating the best of British music. So to actually be a part of the event this time round is the icing on the cake after such an incredible year too. We are definitely going to bring the party vibe!”

Other acts set to perform at the 2014 BRIT Awards include Arctic Monkeys and Katy Perry, while it was announced earlier this month that Sam Smith had won next year’s Critics’ Choice Award.

The BRIT Awards 2014 will take place on February 19, at London’s O2 Arena, and will be broadcast live on ITV 1.
