OfficialCharts.com will be bringing you all the action, as it happens, from London’s O2 Arena with our very own BRIT Awards 2013 live blog!

22.15: That's it folks! And what a night it was. Check out all the winners right here, and make sure to follow the Official Charts this weekend for the latest chart movement of your favourite BRITs performer.

22.05: The Global Success award goes to One Direction! The band's first album, 2011's Up All Night, helped One Direction become the first UK group in US chart history to debut at number one with their debut album. It was kept off the top spot here in the UK by Rihanna's Talk That Talk. Nevertheless, it topped the charts in 16 countries worldwide. Last year's follow-up, Take Me Home, debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart. It also entered the US' Billboard Chart at Number 1, making 1D the first UK group to debut at Number 1 with their first two albums.

22.00: The award for Album Of The Year is upon us, and ooooh, it's Bryan Ferry! No, he didn't win it. But he did hand the award to -who else! -  Emeli Sande. What a year it's been. Our Version of Events is the biggest selling album of 2012. Emeli also won the BRITs Critics Choice Award last year and has spent 53 weeks in the Official Albums Chart Top 10.

21.50: A bit of One Direction while we wait for the Best Album gong. What a performance from the boys.

21.40: And we're on to International Male Solo Artist. And the winner is - here comes the screams -  the huuuuugely popular Frank Ocean!

21.25: Best International Group goes to The Black Keys. They've sold early 540k albums and singles since last year's BRITs.

21.15: Wow, this is just flying buy isn't it. Best British Single then. Adele wins it with Bond theme Skyfall! It has sold 625 000 copies to date, but never reached Number 1. Still it's the highest placing Bond theme since Duran Duran in 1985.

21.10: Best Live Act: Coldplay! Chris Martin & co have sold more than 1.7m albums and singles since last year's BRITs. Pretty short specch that. Undoubtedly making room for a special event later on...

21.00: International Female award goes to...oh god, this brought the house down...Lana del Rey! She has sold more than 1.4m singles and albums since the BRITs last year.

20.55: Right then, a little recap of what has happened so far. Ben Howard has bagged two awards (British Male and British Breakthrough), Emeli Sande has taken home the award for British Female Solo Artist, Muse nearly burned down the venue with the combined pyro of Metallica and China, whilst Robbie and JT jigged their way through spectacular live sets. Oh, and there was that Taylor Swift / Harry Styles moment that didn't really happen.

20.50: British Male: Ben Howard! Second award of the night for the singer who has sold nearly 673 000 copies of his debut album since last year's BRITs.

20.45: "Mr. Justin Timberlake everybody! So smooth." says host James Corden after Justin Timberlake's super-smooth comeback.

20.40: Robbie and Rizzle Kicks chumming it up before the show. Obligatory mid-shot scalp included.

20.35: And the British Breakthrough Act goes to Ben Howard! Congrats!

20.30: Mumford & Sons beat One Direction to take home the award for British Group. Mumfords have sold more than 1.2m copies of their albums and singles since last year's BRITs.

20.15: British Female Solo Artist. The winner is Emeli Sande! Emeli has sold more than 3m albums and singles since last year's BRITs, when she won the Critcs' Choice Award.

20.00: It's time! And look, it's MUSE! And an orchestra! Kicking off The BRIT Awards 2013 in style. Muse are nominated in the British Group and Live categories, though sadly there is no category for Ridicuously Epic Space Rock. Which they would totally own.

19.25: ....while Rita Ora makes a special appearance...on a coaster.

19.20: Critics' Choice winner Tom Odell treats the O2 crowd to a pre-show live set.

17.55: Two hours away from BRIT Awards 2013! We're gearing up by playing 'spot the haircut' from above the red carpet.

16.30: Three and a half hours until The BRIT Awards 2013 kick off. A few, undoubtedly very cold fans of Justin Timberlake are already camped outside Kentish Town Forum for JT's intimate post-BRITs gig. Wisely, they've opted for warm coats rather than suit & tie.

16:18: Right, the Official Singles Chart Update and Official Albums Chart Update are done, time to stuff these into my pocket, and head down to the O2!
