Bradley Walsh has confirmed that he will release a second album this year after the unexpected success of his debut.

The much-loved entertainer, best known for his acting work in Coronation Street and presenting ITV's The Chase, applied his stage and screen experience to a new path - a music career. Chasing Dreams was released last November, where it peaked at Number 10 and shifted 111,000 copies in just four weeks.

The feat meant Bradley scored the best-selling debut album of 2016 by a British artist, finishing ahead of British debuts from Zayn and Jack Garratt.

The title of Bradley's second album is still a work in progress, but it will be released in Autumn this year.

"I was absolutely thrilled at the response of the first album," he said. "It was so much fun to work on I had to have another go at a second and the thought of having fans help choose tracks means that, in a way, they get to work on it too which is brilliant!"

Fans can help choose one track for his second collection - just visit www.pickasongforbradley.com and enter your suggestions. One lucky fan can even win the opportunity to visit the recording studio as Bradley records their chosen song. Amazing.

Bradley's Chasing Dreams album was the 57th best-selling record of 2016, despite only being released four weeks before the end of the year. Check out the full Top 100 list here

Earlier this year, OfficialCharts.com had a chat with Bradley all about the surprise success of his debut. "It has come as a complete surprise and I am absolutely thrilled and a little overwhelmed," he said. "I never realised how big of a deal it was going to be, everyone has been talking about it."
