Blurred Lines knocks Get Lucky off top of Official Streaming Chart

Robin Thicke’s latest single is not only the most purchased track of the last seven days, it’s also the most played, too!

Robin Thicke’s seemingly unstoppable rise continues, as Blurred Lines climbs to Number 1 on the Official Streaming Chart.

The US R&B star’s track, which has been Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart for the last three weeks, has ended Daft Punk’s seven week run at Number 1 with Get Lucky on the Official Streaming Chart. Both tracks feature N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell Williams, meaning Pharrell has become the first artist to knock himself off the top of the chart since it was launched in May of last year.

Get Lucky falls one place to Number 2, while Naughty Boy’s La La La FT Sam Smith (Number 3), Pasamger’s Let Her Go (4) and Macklemore and Ryan LewisCan’t Hold Us FT Ray Dalton (5) complete this week’s Top 5.

New entries and high climbers

Dublin rockers Kodaline score this week’s highest new entry with their latest single, Love Like This (Number 36).

The BRIT Awards 2013’s Critics’ Choice winner Tom Odell makes his Official Streaming Chart debut at Number 43 today with Another Love, while Taylor Swift’s Everything Has Changed FT Ed Sheeran is new in at 53.

Disclosure enter at 82 with F For You from their Number 1 album Settle, Jenifer Lopez and Pitbull debut at 94 with Live It Up, while Queens Of The Stone Age’s I Sat By The Ocean and Wiley’s Lights On FT Angel and Tinchy Stryder debut at 96 and 97, respectively.

X Factor stars Union J are this week’s highest climber, up 55 places to Number 28 with Carry You, while Fuse ODG climb 54 to 23 with Antenna.
