The world really did want new Beyoncé music, and her US sales prove it.

The superstar's sixth studio album Lemonade has shifted one million copies Stateside, her sixth collection to do so, following Dangerously in Love, B'Day, I Am... Sasha Fierce, 4 and Beyoncé.

This past week, another 56,000 units of Lemonade were sold, pushing the album into seven figure territory with 1.051 million.

Not only have all of Bey's studio albums pushed past the million mark, but they have also all debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 chart, making the Beyhive leader the only musician ever with this untarnished distinction.

Billboard shared these new statistics, along with details of Beyoncé's total album sales so far in her career. To date, she has shifted 17.2 million albums in the States. Her biggest selling album is her debut Dangerously in Love, which has soared past five million sales.

The only albums to sell more than Lemonade in 2016 are Drake's Views and Adele's 25, which is 2016's biggest seller so far.
