Beyonce's Formation tour support act announced as DJ Khaled

The support act for Beyonce's upcoming Formation tour has been announced as DJ Khaled. 

The DJ and producer expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity on his Instagram page, posting a lengthy message where thanked "the incomparable icon Beyonce".

I am proud to announce that I, DJ Khaled will be on tour with the icon, Beyoncé!!!!! Fan luv, when I tell you that prayer is the so powerful, please believe me. DJ Khaled has collaborated with the majority of R&B/hip-hop stars over the last decade, including Kanye West, Akon, Birdman, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. 

The star will be on hand to support Beyonce for the tour's launch on April 27 in Miami, and will remain on board for a number of North American shows until June 14.
