Benedict Cumberbatch and Ben Affleck battling for this week's Number 1 DVD

Find out which brand new DVDs and Blu-rays are being picked up across the UK.

It's the battle of the Bens on today's Official Video Chart Update as Benedict Cumberbatch and Ben Affleck movies are battling it out for home entertainment supremacy.

Last week's Number 1 release Doctor Strange, starring Benedict and Tilda Swinton is expected to hold onto the top spot for a second week, a prediction we can exclusively reveal today according to our midweek data. Based on four days of sale however, there are just 7,000 units separating the Top 2, which is completed by Ben Affleck's The Account at Number 2.

Elsewhere in the Top 5, Michael Fassbender's period drama The Light Between Oceans is new at 3, and is followed by popular animated movies Finding Dory (4) and Trolls (5).

New entries and high climbers

The BBC's Planet Earth 2 is new at Number 21, while Paw Patrol: Easter Egg Hunt is also hoping to lock in a Top 30 placing at 22. Anna Paquin's The Warsaw Ghetto has struck a chord with many and lands at 24 as of today's sales flash.

The Secret Life of Pets is on track for a twelve place hike to Number 27, ahead of Jason Bourne which is set to vault 30 spots to Number 30. Star Trek Beyond is also set for a huge climb, from last week's 77 to Number 35. Just ahead of that climber is a new entry from King Arthur: Excalibur Rising (34).

Finally, anime classic Spirited Away returns to the Top 40 following a steelbook limited edition version was released, exclusively stocked by Zavvi (38).
