This weekend the all-new Radio 1 Official Chart with Reggie Yates goes visual - the first time the charts have been visualised in the BBC since the beloved Top Of The Pops closed its doors in 2006. A bold new step in radio production, we meet the creative brains who are making it happen...

Neil Sloan, Producer of Radio 1's Official Chart with Reggie Yates and Joe Harland, Head of Visualistion for Radio 1 and 1Xtra talk to theofficialcharts.com about how they are transforming the way the BBC delivers its broadcasting to create the next generation of chart programming for young Radio 1 listeners.

Neil and Joe set out with a vision to innovate The Official Chart with Reggie Yates and tap into the Sunday online habits of its demographic. Taking it beyond its roots as a radio show into a boundary-pushing multimedia extravaganza, the new show format will allow viewers to watch the Official Singles Chart Top 10 music videos being counted down online, backstage interviews, live sets, Skype chats, and more social media fun than you can fit into 140 characters.
