Star Wars: The Last Jedi is the fastest-selling DVD & Blu-ray release of 2018 so far, but its claim to that accolade may end this week.

Avengers: Infinity War is a dead-cert to be this week's biggest home entertainment product, according to figures we can reveal in today's Official Video Chart Update.

Based on three days of sales starting from Monday, 306,000 physical units of the latest Marvel crossover movie have been sold. With four days left of the sales window, the Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson epic could become the fastest-seller of the year. The aforementioned Star Wars flick shifted 582,000 in April.

To put into context as to how popular Infinity War is this week, the film is outselling the rest of Top 40 combined, three times over. A triple-pack of all three Avengers films also enters the Top 10 at the midweek stage, at Number 6.

New entries and high climbers

Two more new entries are set to impact this week's Top 10. Arrow: The Complete Sixth Season launches at 8, while Crisis on Earth-X makes an impression at 10.

Four Marvel movies also appear in today's Top 40 sales flash, boosted by their sister movie's success. Avengers: Age of Ultron is at 19, former chart-topper Thor: Ragnarok sits at 20, Spider-Man: Homecoming sticks to 25, and Avengers Assemble re-enters at Number 28.

Finally, Hatchet 4: Victor Crowley is a new entry at Number 26, and Hellboy 2: The Golden Army may return to the Top 40 following a 10th anniversary steelbook release - it's at 38.
