Amy Winehouse is on course for an avalanche of hits in Sunday's Official Charts, according to today's Official Chart Update.
The tragic singer, who died on Saturday, is likely to be represented by seven tracks in the Official Singles Top 40, with three album placings in the Official Albums Top 10 -based on today's Official Chart Update.
In the Official Singles Update, Winehouse is represented by Back To Black (at number 5), Rehab (22), Tears Dry On Their Own (24), Love Is A Losing Game (26), You Know I'm No Good (33) and Valerie (35). In addition, Winehouse's duet of Valerie with Mark Ronson is set to chart at 39.
In the Albums Chart Update, Winehouse's album Back To Black is vying with Adele's 21 for the Number One spot this Sunday. In turn, a double pack of Frank & Back To Black charts at 7, while her debut Frank is at 9. The chart positions for both Frank and Back To Black incorporate sales of both the albums' standard and premium albums -the two albums have previously charted separately, but new chart rules introduced 18 months ago allow the two formats to be combined.
Other entries in this week's Official Singles Update are led by JLS's new single She Makes Me Wanna which is romping away in the Number One spot, currently selling twice as fast as The Wanted's Glad You Came in second place.
In the Official Albums Update, Adele's remains at one, but the only other Top 20 new entries are Laura Wright's The Last Rose and Ritual Killer by Little Dragon, at 12 and 17 respectively.
