STEVEN WILSON

Steven Wilson (born Steven John Wilson on November 3, 1967 in Kingston upon Thames, London) is a British singer-songwriter from Hemel Hempstead, Hampshire. Steven Wilson is the founder, lead vocalist and songwriter for the progressive rock band Porcupine Tree who scored two Official Albums Chart Top 40 albums and were active from 1987 - 2010. As a solo artist, Steven has released albums categorised as art rock, art pop, post-progessive and psychedelic rock genres including Hand Cannot Erase, 4/12 and the Number 3 album To The Bone. The Daily Telegraph described Steven Wilson as "the most successful British artist you've never heard of". Steven Wilson was also a member of the groups Storm Corrosion, Blackfield, Bass Communion and No-Man and has recieved four GRAMMY nominations during his career; one as a solo artist, two for Porcupine Tree and one for Storm Corrosion.
