HEATHER SMALL

Heather Small is an English soul singer born in West London on January 20, 1965. Heather began her career joining her first group Hothouse while still a teenager, and as they failed to ignite the record-buying public, she turned to session work becoming the studio voice of Black Box’s re-recorded UK Official Singles Chart Number 1 Ride On Time. Heather Small became the lead singer of the band M People, clocking up a string of hit songs selling millions of records worldwide in the early 1990s. Heather Small became a solo turn in 1998 after M People dissolved, releasing her debut solo song and album Proud in 2000.
