ZAYN

Zayn Malik is a former member of One Direction, the chart-topping boyband put together on The X Factor 2010.

In March 2015, Bradford-born Zayn left the globally successful pop group to pursue a solo career, fast forward to February 2016 he debuted at Number 1 with Pillowtalk.  Zayn's debut album Mind of Mine also hit Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.

In June 2023 it was announced that Zayn signed a brand-new solo deal, and was to release his upcoming music through Island Records. He was previously signed in a long-term deal with RCA, who released his first three albums, while as a member of One Direction, ZAYN was also a part of the Sony label family through SYCO. 

On 18 April 2024, Zayn's single Alienated became the historic first-ever Number 1 on the newly-launched Official British Asian Music Chart, compiled by the Official Charts Company and broadcast on BBC Asian Network.
