FLEET FOXES

Fleet Foxes are an American indie/folk band from Seattle, Washington comprising of lead vocalist and guitarist Robin Pecknold (born March 31, 1986), bassist Christian Wargo born (September 22, 1976), guitarist and mandolin player Skyler Skjelset (born May 3, 1986), keyboardist Casey Wescott (born January 8), and upright bass player and percussionist Morgan Henderson (born August 22, 1978). Fleet Foxes' 2008 self-titled debut album reached Number 3 on the UK's Official Albums Chart, was nominated for Best International Album at the 2009 BRIT Awards, and featured in The Guardian's 100 Best Albums of the 21st Century list. 2011 sophomore studio album Helplessness Blues charted at Number 2 in the UK and was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 2012 Grammy Awards. Fleet Foxes went on hiatus between 2013 and 2016 while frontman Pecknold completed an undergraduate degree, but reunited for 2017 Top 10 album Crack-Up. Fourth studio album Shore was surprise-announced one day before its release in September 2020, and was named as BBC Radio 6 Music's third best album of 2020. Fleet Foxes have twice been nominated for Best International Group at the BRIT Awards, in 2009 and 2012.
