As much as I like Oasis, I'd always been mixed about Be Here Now, some of it is alright but like many have said before, it was just too long and overblown, and even Noel admits that too.

I've always thought it was a great album and compares well with its predecessors. D'Yer Know What I Mean? is just wonderful.

So glad on Phil Collin's entry at 2 above those Gallagher rude idiots who have dared to speak badly of this talented old British treasure, jealous of his US success I assume, they made the right choice, obnoxious pair, terrible music and large lack of talent, unlike the kind talented Phil Collins, he has had the last laugh for good now, justice has been served, and the good guy has won, I'd like to have seen Tom Chaplin on the top spot but glad he got in the top 3 and I think the album deserves a nomination, so genuine and true and such a charming man, great voice and lovely album.

So pleased the likes of Phil Collins and Tom Chaplin have entered the album charts in the top 3. Would of liked to of seen "The Wave" by Tom Chaplin to of hit the top. Then you look at the Singles Chart and Physical Singles by these sort of artists can't even hit the Top 100 which is just crazy. How a great record "Quicksand" by Tom Chaplin can't even make the charts, but his album enters at no 3 is beyond me. The charts today mean nothing. At one end of the scale you don't have to buy a record to get it and I have never heard so much that goes on with Streaming counting towards the charts. The Singles Charts today are only for Reality TV Stars of "The X Factor", "The Voice" and "Britain's Got Talent". Boy and Girl Bands that look and wear next to nothing clothes. All the others have no chance of having a hit single, then you look at the album charts and see Phil Collins and Tom Chaplin enter the top 3, but can't hit the singles charts and there's more artists and bands like them.

So Phil Collins's greatest hits out sold a reissue of one of the weakest Oasis albums, its hardly a cause for celebration.

If it's any help, Tom Chaplin sold about 13000 of his album, which wouldn't have been enough for a Top 40 single these days. And he obviously has a long track record of appealing more to album than single buyers.

Is that all wow how did you find out and I know that Walls sold 50,000.

That is cos the streams have to be much higher to count a sale on albums than on songs so streaming has little effect on albums, and I know what you are saying but it is about what is hot and those artists have had their day so people will not stream their songs in loads and the sales will be lower to what is currently hot, but think about it like this most people will always buy ten songs from an artist and collected works from already established artists but their fan base may also be older and young people own the singles chart majority.

Considerin "Be Here Now" by Oasis has been re-released in the form of a deluxe edition, it shud b a new entry not a re-entry
